“ What a great place, lovely friendly staff, good food at reasonable prices. We booked a table to see the band outside and with the weather being a bit dodgy they kept us a table indoors as well, perfect. So we ate indoors and then headed out to the garden space which was really nice and cozy. Separate open cubicles made it feel very Covid friendly. To top it all The Pesky Alligators were brilliant as usual. Thanks all, we’ll definitely be back. ”
“ Just passing through I decided to call in to ask directions. I thought I'd eat too and have a pint. Really pleasant experience and the food was plentiful, hot and tasty. The service was enthusiastic and cheerful. They were just seeing up for a music night and the customers all seemed to be comfortable and cheerful. It's not gastro but good old English pub experience and I felt welcome and satisfied. Couldn't stay for the music but I'm sure those who did had a great time. If I'm passing again I'll be sure to call in. Well done. ”
“ Been to the Stumble Inn a couple of times now, only had the home made cobs from the bar, but they were lovely and easily worth every penny! The staff are really friendly and nice people, and even the locals that drink there were really friendly too.... The live band on the night ( Dr Spork) were simply fantastic. ”

“ Affordable pool table. Not particularly rowdy. A great place to set the mood as you can buy a drink and escape out of the sheltered beer garden. Smoking area. Fosters, Carlsberg and surely Guinness? There is a dog that lives here and the landlords are nice. Personally, I have visited here for your solo pint as well as entertaining friends. I have come across interesting folk here and everyone seems to be friendly enough. ”
